Nakon utakmice, Nikola je izašao pred kamere kako bi kratko analizirao meč. Izrazio je svoje poverenje u Džamala Mareja i znao je da će pogoditi taj šut, iako mu je do tada išlo teško.

Timski smo igrali neverovatno, publika je bila uz nas čak i kada smo gubili sa 20 razlike. Ljudi, hvala vam, lepo je igrati pred ovakvim navijačima,“ rekao je Jokić.
Na pitanje novinarke Kejti Vindž kako se oseća povodom neverovatne atmosfere u dvorani posle pobede, Jokić je bio pod utiskom i ponavljao je reč „neverovatno“ više puta.
„Neverovatno, neverovatno, neverovatno, neverovatno!“ ponavljao je Jokić, dok je publika aplaudirala.
Ovaj preokret predstavlja veliku pobedu za Denver Nuggetse u plej-ofu NBA lige i definitivno će biti upamćen kao jedan od najuzbudljivijih mečeva u istoriji franšize.

Historic evening for the Denver Nuggets. Nikola Jokić’s team made the biggest turnaround in franchise history in the NBA playoffs against the Los Angeles Lakers, as they were losing by 20 points and ended up celebrating a victory with Murray’s shot at the buzzer – 101:99.
After the match, Nikola stepped in front of the cameras to briefly analyze the game. Jokić believed in Jamal Murray and knew he would make that shot, even though he was struggling until then.
„He needed that to ‘heat up’ the atmosphere. He made some easy shots and he has made that kind of shot a thousand times before. We believe in him, even when things aren’t going well,“ said Jokić.
Jokić added that the defense was crucial for Nikola’s team to make a comeback in the end.
„Frankly, I think we had open shots, but we weren’t making them. The defense in the last quarter, actually throughout the second half, was incredible. We played incredibly as a team, the crowd was with us even when we were losing by 20 points. So, thank you, it’s nice to play in front of such people,“ Jokić said.
When asked by reporter Katie Winge how he feels about the incredible atmosphere in the arena after the victory, Jokić was impressed and repeated the word „incredible“ several times.
„Incredible, incredible, incredible, incredible!“ repeated Jokić, while applauding the fans.
This turnaround represents a great victory for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA playoffs and will definitely be remembered as one of the most exciting games in franchise history.
